Building the Seawind is a breeze, the tools required are minimal, an awl, phillips head screw driver (L), sharp hobby knife, wire cutters, needle nose pliers, ruler in mm and cm, scissors, 400~800-grit sand paper, a flat file and a bottle of instant glue.

If your going to paint the hull you will also need masking tape and paint. As I mentioned in the tips section I would suggest completing section #8 and #9 before you paint the hull.

Trimming away the burr on the top edge of the hull can be done with a sanding block and sand paper or with a good size flat file.

Another area to pay particular attention to is the casting seams on the bow of the hull. If your are painting your boat take the time to really clean this area up.

Beside the above mentioned item visit the building forum for additional Tips/Mods. The Seawind really is a breeze to build. Just follow the steps in instruction manual and you will be sailing in no time.

Where can you buy a Kyosho® Seawind Racing Yacht; most large hobby store carry Kyosho® products, they will either have them in-stock or you can ask them to order one for you. Another option would be to purchase it through one of the many online hobby store.
